The purpose of the project is to transform an abandoned mine, Tako Pit Thong in Srakaew, Thailand into an educational history of mining museum. The aim is to educate, create more jobs, and boost economy in the area so that the community can finally able to financially support and sustain themselves. The team was invited to do on-site field research including interviews, feasibility study, and documentation.

The challenge of the project was the cooperation between the local community and local government as there was mixed feedback from the community. Funding was also another major issue for the project.
