The purpose of the project was to design a new pier design from the damage left by Hurricane Sandy in Long Island, NY. The project comprised of new 7 piers and deck design in the neighborhood of Whitestone, NY. The process includes ideation, documentation, structural design, contracting, and delivery.

The challenge of the project was to get approval to remove debris and barges in the water within the time limit of permit and insurance.
