The Module
Library

THAILAND

The module library was a design-build project aiming to build a library for a local school in the northeastern part of Thailand called Sra Gaew. The main structure of the building was built with recycled carton tiles, wooden truss, and polycarbonate sheets.

The challenge of the project was to finish the construction on-site within 7 days. Part of the structure was prefabricated in Bangkok and was transported to the site. Another challenging part was sponsorship. The team was given 4 months after the competition to contact organizations for resources and funding.
